Hoozin Technology, Inc. (“Hoozin Technology,” “Hoozin,” “us,” “we”, or “our”) operates the Hoozin Event Invite Application (the “Service”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you are not in agreement with our policies and practices, you may not use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this privacy policy.

Information Collection and Use

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information (“PII”) that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email and physical address, phone number, name, date of birth (“Personal Information”).

We collect this information (i) directly from you when you provide it to us and (ii) automatically as you navigate through the Service. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies (when and as applicable).

You may (when and as applicable) need to register for an account and use your credentials from a third-party social media or other platform (i.e. payment processor), to access some or all of our Service. By downloading, installing, using and accessing the Service, you consent to our use of your username and other information (such as your friends or contacts) from those accounts. These other third parties have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing your information through them.

The information we collect on or through our Service may include:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Service. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Service, subscribing to our Service, or posting material. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Service.

  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses) if you contact us.

  • Username and other information (such as your friends and contacts) from third-party social media accounts and third-party platforms that are utilized by the Service.

  • Details of transactions you carry out through our Service and of the fulfillment of your orders.

  • Contact List and Image information from your mobile device, limited to names, profile images and mobile numbers. Allowing access to your device’s address book to upload contacts to our servers is an optional feature that allows us to make it easier for you to invite your contacts to events that you organize, and also check which of your contacts in your device's address book are Hoozin users. It also means we can update your Hoozin contact list when your contacts who aren't using Hoozin yet sign up later. We care about your privacy and we don't share your contact list with any third parties. When you grant Hoozin access to your device address book, Hoozin will access and upload the names, profile images and mobile numbers in your address book when you access the contacts screen of the Hoozin app. We don’t collect any of the other information that could appear in your device address book. You can control access to your device’s address book from the Hoozin app. If you choose not to allow Hoozin to access your device’s address book you can still communicate with people who have Hoozin by manually entering their mobile numbers.

We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Service, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, and improving our services.

You may also provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, “posted”) on public areas of the Service, or transmitted to other users of the Service or third parties (collectively “Content”). Your Content is posted through our Service and transmitted to others at your own risk. We cannot control the actions of other users of the Service with whom you may choose to share your Content. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your Content will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.
